About the show

After calling in sick due to her cat's death, Ivy's life unravels when Vesper comes back very much alive.

An absurdist dark comedy about grief, loneliness, the increasingly impossible task of maintaining a lie… and one suspiciously alive cat who ruins everything.

Over the course of one week, she scrambles to hold onto her job, her flat, and her sanity, all while asking something she probably should have asked sooner: “Whose ashes are these?”

Beneath the chaos, it's a show about loneliness, corporate wellness theatre, and the difficulty of cleaning up a mess you didn't mean to make - especially when you're the only one left in the room.

* Previously performed as a work-in-progress at Canal Cafe Theatre. Supported by The Cockpit's New Stuff programme. Next up: Preview performances as part of Camden Fringe 2026.
